This what the Tao Te Ching means when it says “hide your jade”. It means hide your virtue, or your enlightenment. Basically don’t be attached to your enlightenment lest you become overly proud of it or lead people astray with your partial awakening (hint: it’s always partial, you never have all of the answers).
