The moral of this story, be careful who you follow, praise, and/or empower. If their message is focused on tearing down any group or community, then you can never be sure that YOUR group or community won’t become their next target. Folks who are only interested in bringing someone else down, especially if it empowers themselves at the other’s expense, are not worth our time and energy.

Instead we should follow, praise, and empower folks who build others up. We should share our energy, rather than give it away, with those who want to build and create. I say share, because too many want to take your energy and give nothing back in return. Protect your energy. Only share it with those who reciprocate, as much as possible.
