Thank you for writing! I’m a sucker for anything related to non-dualism. It truly seems the only logical conclusion to anyone who has thought long and hard enough about it. Any defense of materialism/physicalism seems like a desperate attempt to hold onto a ghost. Perhaps the ghost desperately wants to convince itself that it’s real. But why? It already is real. Does it really matter if it’s real by virtue of matter over mind? What is it about matter that makes us so attached/endeared to it? Is it its supposed concreteness, its ability to last longer than our fleeting experience of it? Do we truly need that so badly?
Matter erodes and changes. Mind alone seems constant. I tend to believe that it is a conjured duality to fuel creation. Mind would be bored if it didn’t have anything to bounce itself off of. For better or worse, matter is at least something interesting to experience.
