So many great points to highlight! You’re advice is spot on! Your wool shirt analogy for the ego was especially similar to a statement I made to my family in early 2020 just before the pandemic truly took off. I had this feeling of wearing a t-shirt that no longer fit properly. I now know that it was my ego that no longer fitted me.

Thankfully for me, my experience of awakening has been more of a slow dawning than a lightning bolt. I’ve always searched for spiritual truths and have been un-afraid to go where Spirit leads, even if it led to contradictions, confrontations, and paradoxes. In a sense, I feel like I’ve always been awakened yet still half-asleep trying to conjure up the dreams that everyone else seems to be dreaming. I’ve never quite been comfortable in those dreams.

I could keep rambling, but just wanted to comment that you and any other readers that are awakened/awakening are not alone. The advice you give is solid. My only addition is to trust Spirit. When it moves, you move. If it remains still, then you remain still. This vague advice, I know. But when you can sense it, you know it, and while there may be no certainty in the outcome or consequences, you can be certain that the action itself is appropriate.

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
