Once again, amazing article and insight, Kimberly! I love reading your articles. I had a line in one of my posts (not trying to self-plug, it's just relevant), "Ego is not my enemy, it is my child". You've struck a common chord with this post.

I'm definitely guilty of this, but luckily I've checked myself before I've done too much damage. I often have screaming matches in my head against the straw-men I've erected of loved ones that I wish I could flip the light-switch on for them. But I can't. My truth is not their truth and my answers are not their answers. Not everyone is ready to hear spiritual truths. Some truths are dangerous for certain people to hear, specifically because of the "spiritual ego" that you so deftly describe here.
