Nothing to add here. As per usual, your words and thoughts are spot on with piercing insight. I highlighted two phrases that resonated with me. That first one, about the self being both “me” and “we”, that is so true but too often neglected. Since my college days I’ve been delving into that thought, trying to figure out what it means.
What does it mean to (and to others who hear me say it) when I say, “ My soul is not my own. My soul is you and me and us, together. We share a soul.”? It’s a vaulted perspective, and indeed one that could take multiple lifetimes to understand.
