I’ve adopted the term “queer adjacent”, as a cisgender straight male. I have no problems celebrating and participating in the cultural aspects of queerdom, but I will always recognize that there’s aspects that I could never experience simply because I am not queer.

I think as long as we do our own authentic thing (whatever that may be), and celebrate each other’s weirdness (as long as no one is being hurt or disrespected), then we’re all good! But I realize that’s easy for a straight white man to say. Still, it can be a goal to aspire to.

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
