Is light bothered by the dark? It effortlessly pierces the darkness via its own nature. It couldn’t do otherwise. Be like the light and just shine. Darkness has no power against it.

Yet it will always exist where the light doesn’t shine. Its nature is to be nothing, to create space between things. Darkness is integral to the project of Creation.

Doesn’t mean we have to like it. But can we love it unconditionally anyway? Can we accept these cultists exactly as they are, despite their unwillingness to do the same? Can we see the darkness in ourselves and love ourselves anyway?

In both your words and the AA’s, I detected an “us vs them” mindset. This separation is darkness, a space we have mutually created between us and them. We dispel this darkness when we move beyond separation and see us in them, them in us. We are we.

Light and dark was married together long ago. God is before this duality, created this duality for a reason, and is embodied in this duality.

Enough non-dualist prattle. I read the same article and stopped halfway through. It really didn’t surprise me, nor alarm me. Nothing new to see here, so I moved on.

Thank you for taking the time to ask the question and share the response though! I’m sure you’re not the only one with similar thoughts and doubts. I know I’ve wrestled with that doubt before.

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
