I’ll be honest, didn’t read this for a long time because of length despite my intense interest in the subject . Not that I’m incapable of reading more than a three minute long article mind you. It’s just that Medium is my smoke/poop break app, which tends to shorter reads.

But then I did read it just now, because what else am I doing with my life at this moment. Good stuff! You are preaching to the choir with me, but you did give me some new info so thank you! Thank you for sharing the original Hebrew translation. I think I’ve read that in a Kabbalah book before too. I may add that name to my mantra practice. Something’s also been telling me to back and reread the prophets, so thank you again for the added push.

Hey look at this, a long response to a long article! Fitting.

I think the reason why God’s true name has been obfuscated is because it is dangerous for the spiritually immature. I mean look at what the religious “leaders” have done with it. The problem, in my view, is that people confuse their ego-I with the divine-I. It is the ego-I that demands sacrifice and law-making/abiding. They confuse their human need for retribution, comfort, and certainty as a divine mandate.

I have found, and believe, that anyone who has done the work to diminish the strength of their ego, or silence it, or any myriad other mystical esoteric methods to perceive beyond their ego… almost invariably come to the same conclusions. God demands mercy and forgiveness as well as repentance. Bonus points: repentance is another method of telling the ego to take a break, the grownups are talking. God demands submission, not to dogmatic laws and self-righteous assholes, but rather to submission to knowing that you don’t know anything. Submission to wisdom. Submission to the fact that we are tiny insects with big dreams but we have no idea how to make them reality.

God’s in the business of making realities. She’s been telling all of us all along that They’ve got this, but like children, our egos say “hey i know how to this better!” or “You’re taking too long God, I’m gonna do this now”. God just wants us to chill and be like “the lilies of the field”.

All in all, good article with good info that many should read. I would ask that you check yourself and your chosen words. I got a whiff of ego in there. Not bad, but it was there. A small silent fart of ego, if you will allow me the fun metaphor.

Keep the faith! Stay blessed! Don’t stop searching for the kingdom of Aheyeh! It’s all around us and it’s beautiful! (Even with a few stenches here and there) 😃

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
