If we are God’s body (which is stated somewhere in the Bible, IIRC), then it stands to reason that God would act through us.

Further, I believe God acts through us whether we believe in Him or not. Such is the power and mystery of God.

This is truly a tragic story. The only silver lining I can possibly see is that beautiful young soul would not have to grow up in a cult and suffer whatever other depravities they might’ve done.
