I seem to remember Jesus saying something about a plank in someone’s eye… I guess it’s hard to see the plank in one’s eye, given it’s in their eye. One would think it would be painful? Ah, but the pain is obviously others’ fault. It couldn’t possibly be self-inflicted.

I wonder… just as a non-Christian isn’t swayed by a t-shirt or other judgmental behaviors, so too the fundamentalist Christian won’t be swayed by logic, rationality, or even Jesus’s teachings apparently. I’m understanding more and more what Exodus meant when they say Pharaoh’s heart was hardened. There appear to be a lot of “pharaohs” these days.

Guess there always has been. God certainly is mysterious.
