Also, the juxtaposition that you point out of the frivolity of the situation (a tennis match) in comparison to the “real problems of the world”, is also poignant. Yes, in the grand scheme of things, that tennis match doesn’t really matter, but in the context of “David Gerken” it mattered quite significantly! Therefore it was a perfect opportunity for learning for you, and an inspiration for you to write this article and prompt more thoughts and reflection in others, such as what I’m doing now.
