I am a man and feel very similar, albeit without having a child. I’d like to think I’ve grown beyond the fear that would hold me back from “living on the streets” or seeking long term solitude in the wilderness, but I’ve done neither so maybe I haven’t. Having said that, I don’t think that type of solitude is necessary.

I’ve read your work and know that you’re on the right path for you. If that means your solitude can only come in small chunks, then that is just where you are right now. I don’t know why, call it “faith”, but I know that I am exactly where I need to be. If I am ever supposed to be alone on a mountain or in the woods for my spiritual growth, then I will find myself there when it is time. Until then, I keep the faith and seek God in everything and everyone.

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
