Great article! I’m definitely an introvert, quiet and proud! But that doesn’t mean I don’t have anything to say, as my articles here on Medium are evidence. Through those moments of perception and awareness you speak of, I have noticed throughout my life that people do tend to look to me for “sanity checks” or “what do you think?”. This led me to understand that they do see me as charismatic, even when I don’t see it myself. I’ve chosen to embrace my charisma and use it when I feel it is necessary, like an “undercover boss”.

I also can’t help but comment here, but I wonder how much of my perceived charisma is a cultural artifact. I’m male, white, tall, deep voiced, moderately attractive… in other words, everything society, culture, and media tells us to listen to and respect. There I go being an introvert and over-analyzing again, but I do wonder if my charisma has not so much to do with me, and more to do with my place in history and society.

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
