Also, your comments on judgement vs correction reminded me of an apropos verse from Proverbs 9:9 -
“Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.”

Of course, in typical Proverbs fashion it also has much to say about the foolish with regard to instruction. Spoiler alert, they don’t take too kindly to it apparently!
