Bravo! Great article and great points! Thank you for sharing your insights!

I highlighted that question, because I believe it to be an important one and leads to other insights, some which you hinted at further down, specifically where you state, paraphrased, that we also live with physical laws and/or forces.

A theory I’ve been kicking around in my noggin is a version of panpsychism, or a radical interactionalism. In short, anytime there is any interaction between two things (whether particles, molecules, cars, or cultures), both entities involved in the interaction are “conscious” that something happened, and therefore that is enough to collapse their wave functions. So no need for special perceptual organs nor sophisticated lab equipment. “Measurements” are being taken all of the time all around and within us. Further, the sum total of all of these interactions and their resulting wave function collapse, is what produces the apparent “solidity” or “maximal inter-subjectivity” of “reality”. Or as I like to call it, the maelstrom of manifestation. I use the word “maelstrom” because I view it as inherently chaotic, especially with humans unconsciously manifesting all over the place. The key part of this theory is that it’s not only humans who are capable of this. I think animals, particles, organs, corporations, societies… all are capable of being “conscious” on some level, and that “consciousness” is enough to collapse wave functions and manifest.

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
