Another argument from a slightly different angle comes from birth defects. I was born with a defect that would have shortened my lifespan to a few months if I didn’t get the surgeries to correct it. Did my parents go against God’s plan? Was I supposed to die an infant?

No, like good Christians they found a way for me to live and thrive. The surgeries were in large part paid for by donations from their church. Seems like all in God’s plan to me!
