Being a student of philosophy and religion, the language games we play are an all too familiar topic on my mind. The best philosophical method I have found to deal with it is called Pragmatism. If anyone is interested in learning more about it as a philosophy, William James is one of the nicer authors to read and understand from a non-academic background.

That being said, I use the terms God, Source, Universe, Tao, Dharma, Logos, Spirit, Soul… and many others all interchangeably and synonymously. They all mean the same thing to me, which is really that which is has no name and is all names. I see no distinction between me-human, me-soul, me-spirit, or me-God.

One key insight I was given long ago before I could really understand it (I still don’t completely) is this. My soul is not my own. It is shared. We all participate/are one soul. Embracing the unity and diversity at the same time… gets a bit mind boggling

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
