As a white dude, I stand in solidarity with you and all marginalized groups that the white empire has despoiled. I feel the anger of your ancestors and the shame of mine. Knowing the sins of my fathers had not broken me, it’s made me stronger.

My white brothers and sisters need to realize hiding from the past only makes us collectively weaker. The sins of the fathers will be repaid. We need to accept this with grace and humility.
