Amazing! Thank you for citing what those authors said. As a writer, musician, and philosopher, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a thought (seemingly my own), then days, weeks, months later read that exact same thought in someone else’s work. How many times have I played my guitar and just freestyled, letting my fingers go where they wanted, and then heard something extremely similar being played by another musician.

We truly are connected on some deeper level than we are aware of. Call it energy, vibes, zeitgeist, whatever. We pick up what others are doing and feeling, often without being conscious of doing so. It’s to be celebrated rather than litigated. I think copyright laws, while they have their place to protect artists, have been massively misused and actually hurt art and expression.

Yet another white dude with yet another opinion. Is that opinion founded in Wisdom? I don't know, you tell me.
