I actually have a distaste for language like that, “a true… this” or “the true expression of … that”. Like I know what the “truth” is. However, in this case, I feel that I should trust in my certainty of asserting that I know what “a true disciple of Jesus” is, because it’s vanishingly rare to find an example of someone walking the walk these days.
